This project is part of the developments of the ExEx models. The collaboration aims to improve the Siroco-Planificación (ExSP) model in order to assess the potential postponement of thermal unit outage decisions to provide secondary reserve.
Layman's summary: The Siroco-Planificación model is based on a thermal scheduling that includes the unit commitment provided by the Excom model. The aim of this project is to enable Siroco-Planificación to postpone shutdown decisions in order to increase the availability of secondary reserve and offer it in the market.
